As I stepped out of work yesterday, I noticed a lot of my friends posting pictures on instagram in regard to a new application called Path. I downloaded the application and let me curiosity get the best of me. As if social networking couldn't get any more personal, Path combines Foursquare,Facebook, Twitter and Tumblr with a twist. It gets even more personal with the ability to post what music you are currently listening to and even to the extent of when you sleep and wake up. It has a timer which determines how long you sleep. This is a new evolution of social networking that revolves around an individuals life 24/7. Skeptical? The good part is, its used for personal friends and family only to keep in touch as well as keep a journal of your "path's" together. The basic newsfeed is a timeline of yourself and your friends combined. I personally like the concept and will demo the application for a month or so before permanently becoming a member. This application honestly highlights how much people today resemble cyborgs. Our lives are constantly posted and tweeted and privacy is transparent. It's an interesting technologial world and as time goes on, we only get sucked deeper in. Enjoy and share your feedback :)

Instagram!
It seems now a days that everyone is in love with photography. Personally, I have always been interested in photography from a young age and had grown up using Adobe Photoshop in school. I started with a camera and eventually used my cell phone camera as a substitute. Now, I always use my cell phone camera to capture moments and beautiful sights to share with my friends and family. Following Facebook's purchase of Instagram, I actually left Facebook and fell in love with the Instagram platform. I believe that a newsfeed of pictures is more valuable and interesting than unnecessary statuses about someone's latest argument. As they say, "A picture's worth a thousand words."
Following that quote, I will start my own segment about my daily life story through the use of my cell phone camera and Instagram application as an addition to my blogs. Enjoy, feel free to comment and even share your own personal Instagram photos.
